There are a few things that concern me however, our performance on the VR and solarian attempts... Maybe it was just getting late and people were getted tired but let's overview what exactly happened...
VR attempt one: Too many dying to orbs (Not acceptable) Also, many of our mages and other casters were only at about 600dps. PEOPLE ARE SLACKING! If you wan't to half ass your way through raids, please let me know ahead of time so I can bring someone who is actually going to try.
VR attempt 3 (keep in mind, this is after 2 wipes and me yelling at people about being replaced): We kill him with 4 mins left on the enrage timer. Our caster dps rose from 600 to close to 1000 by only changing a couple people in. I shouldn't have to yell at you to make you DPS well.
This is what is keeping me from scheduling BT or Hyjal, we have too many people who are just half assing it on boss attempts. Trust me, I run WWS and Recount, I know who is slacking and I will replace you.
Tonight, we have SSC. I was to try to speed pull the trash and see if we can't get all 5 bosses, except Vashj, down tonight. If you are new to SSC or haven't done a boss or two, refresh yourselves on the strats so we can get right into the fight without spending too much time going over it.
DPS DPS DPS!!!
Our DPS is looking good but like I said earlier in this news post, people are starting to slack off. DPS should be a competition, I will always bring the guys who are going to help kill the boss first. You guys need to, on your own time, make sure you have all enchants and all pots/consumables for raids to make sure your DPS can be at its maximum.
Other tools to help out with DPS would be checking theorycrafting site for gear upgrade choices and spell/shot rotations.
A good site to use as a tool in helping make your desicion on gear upgrade would be: MAXDPS.com or google your class and spec with the words "eletist jerks" in it, that should give you some good insight of idea on how to play your class efectivley. You will be surprised the things you might be doing right or wrong.
Either way, we have been doing great guys, Alar down on week 2 is pretty damn impressive. Get ready for SSC tonight.
